What helps someone clarify their goals when starting a business?

I was recently asked by Tina Martin from Ideaspired.com what helps someone clarify their goals when starting a business. This is a fantastic question because many times I've watched new business owners jump right in without any clarity or direction.

There are many answers to this question, but my belief is that it helps to clarify how your business will help others and make a change in the world. If your business is only contributing to your bank account, it may not be sustainable. When it has heart, soul, and a goal of reciprocity, you'll grow in ways you never thought possible.

I believe in receiving and giving in order to foster growth and unity-minded consciousness. Without it everyone's just a silo and in it for their own personal gain. What we've learned in the past few years is that without a solid foundation, there's nothing to build on or from. If everyone's purpose is their own personal gain, it's a bunch of dots on a page with nothing to connect them.

When businesses act as an ecosystem, they create that interconnectedness.

Everything is energy and we are all interconnected.
